The body of my work is constructed of post-colonial society and its products, representing the aftermath of Western colonization and involving issues related to identity, diversity, and inclusion as well as re-establishing home.

 

I mostly paint different objects as a symbolic shape and try to incorporate lines to generate an integral nuance. Those objects can be something familiar in everyday life, or something that is around but less familiar. The combination of these visual elements creates a representation of feelings related to the issues. It also strikes the balance between a broad and focused understanding of the constructed subjects.
